(inspired by submission #203)
Steve watched for nearly twenty minutes as various agents and heroes alike stepped up and attempted to heft Thor’s Asgardian hammer from its place in the floor. When yet another person failed the solder shook his head, finally tired of the obvious joke. “Come on, guys, this is silly. Just pick it up.”
Everyone attempted to explain that it couldn’t be lifted but Steve was having none of it. “It’s just a hammer,” he insisted. “It can’t be that heavy.”
When no one made a move to lift it the solider sighed, walked to the center of the floor… and quickly picked the heavy weapon up.
“There, see?” he said, hefting the hammer up onto his shoulder and grinning around at the others. “No big deal.”
His grin faded into an awkward and confused frown however as he took in the awe-struck looks that everyone was giving him.
“…What?”

When things finally settled and life started to get boring, Tony set up all the computers in Stark Tower with WoW accounts for everyone. Steve’s a paladin, Banner’s a priest, Natasha’s a rouge, and Thor is a death knight. They get together and do dungeons from time to time. They don’t know where Tony and Hawkeye went, but on the PVP server there’s a warrior and a hunter that keep killing them, and it’s getting annoying…

must be getting tired cause this cracked me up and then I sat there looking at it and starting laughing more!
I think I’m high or something ‘cause I am rolling on the floor.
This painting was done with a combination of 1.) my desire to experiment with as many fucking brushes as possible, and 2.) my unending lust for this incredible Loki figurine that I’m still trying to talk myself out of blowing $200 on. Does someone want to buy it for me? I’ll give you all the Loki arts in the entire world.

Hulk smashing the “puny god” performed cognitive recalibration on Loki. Black Widow is the first to realize this when after the shawarma, they find him weeping.

When it comes to childcare, Thor is amazing (much to everyone’s surprise, considering how well he does in other things about Earth society). He’s a big enough guy to intimidate bullies, he’s gentle enough to soothe a crying child, he’s stern enough for children to know they should do as they are told without threats of punishment, and his stories of Asgard and his childhood with Loki can keep a child captivated for hours.
